Daith piercings are a straight forward piercing that usually can be done on all individuals. Generally placement difference only varies with depth and can be different on everyone, especially with pairing.

Initial Jewelry - $15+

When getting your Daith pierced we highly recommend starting out with a ring. The ring does drag bacteria into the piercing more frequently, so we warn our piercees that this can cause a little longer of a healing time. The ring must also be a size suitable to accomodate for swelling, anything smaller must be put in after healing is complete. The popular curved barbell look is something we also wait, for with a ring we can guarantee the channel healing the outward rounded direction.

We generally recommend to wait 4-6 months before switching to a ring in this area and to know that changing the jewelry any time frame under a year can cause the piercing to react to the change.
